This mildly spicy, custom blended curry powder is delicious with seafood. It has a beautiful yellow color and gives a unique flavor and aroma to poultry, meat and vegetables. It can also be sprinkled over a finished dish as a garnish.
Modern curry powder is a western invention, but is very similar to the traditional spice mixture garam masala. The word "curry" comes from the Tamil word kari which means "sauce, relish for rice".
