High quality Earl Grey Black Tea. This type of tea became popular in England in the 1800's. Earl Grey tea is a blend of black tea flavored with oil of bergamot, and is thought to have been named after Charles Grey, 2nd Earl Grey. Earl Grey black tea contains caffeine!

Oil of bergamot is made from the oil pressed from the rind of the bergamot orange. The oil smells like sweet orange rind with a floral aroma. Bergamot oranges are mainly produced in the Reggio Calabria area of Italy but some are grown in southern France as well. The fruit is sometimes made into marmalade and Turkish delight.
