Dried parsley always comes in handy in the kitchen. Parsley or garden parsley is used to add flavor and also as a garnish in many foods. This herb has been used for centuries as an herb, spice and vegetable. Parsley is used in many different American, Middle Eastern and European recipes. 

Parsley is native to the Mediterranean region but is now used almost everywhere on earth. It grows best in moist soil and full sunlight. In Italy it is used to make the Italian condiment, salsa verde. In France it is chopped and mixed with garlic to make Persillade. In Brazil, chopped parsley and onions are the main ingredients in the seasoning called "chiero-verde.
