Never use imitation, instead use real vanilla beans to produce a real vanilla taste in pastries, butter, cocktails, pudding, whipped cream, smoothies, fruit juices and many other foods and beverages. Vanilla is native to Mexico and is one of the world's most popular seasonings.
For best results, place the whole vanilla bean into a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 seconds. Split the bean lengthwise and scrape out the interior using a small knife. Use your fingers to smash the seeds into sugar and use it in your favorite recipes. Place the leftover parts of the bean into a container of regular sugar and it will develop a wonderful vanilla aroma.
